Consultations and Fittings

We come to you

Currently our team is travelling for consultations at your home or office. You are also welcome at the Mr Cuff Studio in Thornbury. Book an appointment here or contact us today.

If a Mr Cuff tailor is travelling to meet you, we charge a $90 first consultation fee to cover the travelling costs and time. When you purchase with Mr Cuff we give you $90 back. Keeping all fittings and consultations free of charge for our clients.

Covid 19 Safety

During fittings our consultant will observe physical distancing, however some close contact is involved in taking personal measurements. Our consultant will also have hand sanitiser, face mask and gloves for each fitting.

Designing your new look

We know everything there is to know about suits and how to make you look your best. We are the real thing designed by Melbournians, made wholly in, you guessed it, Melbourne.

We’ll help you choose from a wide array of fabrics and take you through all the different tailoring options you can include in your bespoke Mr Cuff look.

Getting the perfect fit

7 weeks later we’ll meet again for your first fitting. It will be hard for you to resist not walking away with your suit, but we’re perfectionists and we’ll refine the fit in a complimentary fitting. Second fittings are within the two weeks after the first.

  • EFT (Transfers with confirmation of  transfer)
  • Charges may be applied by your financial institution.
Deposit and payments for Bespoke Orders

To get the ball rolling we request a 50% deposit at the first consultation to cover upfront fabric and cutting costs.

Under rare circumstances, we may require an interim payment.

Final payment must be made when items are collected or before they are be delivered.

Change of Mind and Returns

Purchase made through our online store

We take pride in sustaining a high grade of craftsmanship in our garments. So please contact us straight away if you are unhappy. If there is a flaw in any Mr Cuff garments please contact us and return the garment to us within 14 days of purchase.

If we can, we will repair or replace the garment bought from our online store.
or if it is damaged during delivery at our cost. Please contact us to arrange the return.

We will happily accept returns on all full priced items, unworn and in good condition, if you change your mind within 14 days of receipt, for a credit note (redeemable for 12 months) or a full refund. Return postage charges are at the sender’s expense, alternatively you can drop them off to us in Thornbury. Please contact us to arrange the return.

Bespoke orders

With our bespoke garments the fabric is cut specifically for your order and then crafted to your own fit. As such we’re not able to offer a refund on bespoke garments after the order has been made and deposit paid.

If you do change your mind, as a goodwill gesture we can examine the material and labour costs incurred and can offer a credit note redeemable for 12 months from the date of cancellation equivalent to the unspent materials and labor.

Your garment is ready, after purchase it is packed and shipped from Mr Cuff within 2 days.

DISPATCHED: AUSTRALIA POST EXPRESS POST

We’ll let you know when your garment is dispatched and provide the tracking number. Due to Covid 19 Australia Post cannot currently guarantee next day delivery.  Allow 1-2 business days.

Made to order – allow 2 weeks total
FOR: SHIRTS, TROUSERS, SHORTS, PULLOVERS

After purchase your garment is already cut, then made to order packed and shipped within 7 business days.

DISPATCHED: AUSTRALIA POST REGISTERED POST

You will receive tracking details and will need to sign for delivery. With an expected delivery time frame of 5-7 business days.

Bespoke – allow 10 weeks total
FOR: 3PC, 2PC, JACKETS AND WAISTCOATS

Your garment is expertly made from scratch. The selected fabric may also need to be shipped in. All this takes 7-9 weeks (Delays can be experienced due to Covid 19).

Allow an additional time with our fitters so we can ensure the best possible fit. Read more about consultations and fittings here. Allow 1- 2 weeks.

We give you clear time-frame advice at the initial consultation based on the choices you make, and then stick to them. We’ll also keep you updated on our progress through its construction.

DELIVERED IN MELBOURNE

Available for collection at your final fitting, alternatively we deliver it within 25km of central Melbourne as soon as it is ready.
